Cookie policy
Last updated 31 July 2026
Four strictly necessary cookies, no trackers, no advertising, and no consent banner — because there is nothing here that would require one.
The short version
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and nothing else. There are no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, and no cross-site profiling.
That is why you are not looking at a consent banner. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, and we do not set anything that would.
What we actually set
| Name | Purpose | Life |
|---|---|---|
| session | Keeps you signed in. | 30 days |
| csrf | Prevents cross-site request forgery on forms. | Session |
| theme | Remembers light or dark, if you change it. | 1 year |
| rate | Counts free checks against the daily limit. | 24 hours |
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics that sets no cookies and collects no personal data. It counts page views and referrers in aggregate. There is nothing to opt out of because there is nothing following you.
Local storage
We may keep small amounts of data in your browser's local storage — a draft you typed, a preference you set. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Controlling them
Every browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies. Blocking ours will sign you out and may break parts of the service that depend on knowing who you are, but nothing here is tracking you across the web, so blocking gains you little.
If this changes
If we ever introduce a cookie that is not strictly necessary, this page will be updated first and a consent banner will appear with it. We will not quietly start setting one.
